Founded in 2014, Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) activates young people, develops and implements innovative solutions, and mobilizes an ocean workforce to restore the health of the ocean in our lifetime. SOA has grown the world's largest network of ocean leaders, with over 6,000 youth, entrepreneurs, mentors, leaders, and advocates based in 165 countries. SOA provides support for innovative solutions to ocean health issues through microgrants, startup funding and capacity development, and a youth leadership network. To date, Sustainable Ocean Alliance has accelerated over 260+ solutions to heal, restore, and sustain the health of the ocean.
