The SOA Ocean Solution Label builds on the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label, recognizing ocean-positive companies with a stamp of approval for their efforts to deploy business practices that protect and preserve the ocean.

Eligibility
The SOA Ocean Solution Label consists of a rigorous application process that analyzes how a company's business practices are specifically working to safeguard the ocean.
To be eligible for the Ocean Solution Label, prospects must meet the following criteria as well as those listed on the Solar Impulse Foundation website:

For-Profit Startup
Eligible businesses must be a for-profit startup to receive the SOA Ocean Solution Label.

Efficient Solution Label Recipient
Startups must already have the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label to be eligible for the SOA Ocean Solution Label.

Sustainable Development Goals
Startups must be contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Startups must have business strategies and practices that sustain, regenerate, or restore the ocean's health and resilience.

Startups must be economically competitive within its market and have a business model that drives profitability.
