Vlinder | Hallein, Austria
Vlinder is a climate tech company focusing on high-quality, blue carbon removal solutions and technology for the carbon market.
They restore mangroves forest ecosystems in Africa and Asia to combat climate change, enhance biodiversity, and empower communities through fair carbon sharing and sustainable livelihoods. Their high-integrity carbon credits help businesses and individuals meet net-zero goals while ensuring lasting impact for people and the planet.
By 2030, Vlinder aims to plant 100 million mangrove trees across 35,000 hectares (over 4% of the total restorable area), removing carbon on a megatonne scale.
Genevos | La Rochelle, France
Genevos makes accessible, disruptive zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell power systems integration for the maritime industry.
The startup's unique value proposition is in the deployment of a Complete H2-Pack featuring pioneering fuel cell modules, design engineering, power management, commissioning, optimization and maintenance services.
Genevos' award-winning and drop-in marine fuel cell module revolutionizes maritime power by offering an environmentally friendly solution with high scalability and redundancy, whilst operating with no vibration, sound pollution, or greenhouse gas emissions.
Their fuel cell is 2x more efficient than a conventional diesel generator, 4x the life expectancy and 5x lighter than a lithium battery system, and 95% CO2 lifetime reduction compared to a diesel equivalent engine.

PierSight Space is building a 'constellation' of all-weather imaging satellites for persistent ocean surveillance.
With their groundbreaking Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Automatic Identification System (AIS) satellites, Piersight creates dynamic maps of all human activity at sea—such as all shipping, fishing, and offshore oil—with a refresh rate of every 30 minutes.
This technology helps to improve regulations on Illegal, Unreported, Unregulated (IUU) Fishing, detect oil spills, and support cleanup efforts, as well as reduce emissions by helping ships navigate through complex waterways.
Founded by Ashlan and Philippe Cousteau, SeaVoir is a restorative wellness brand that creates high-quality, ocean-derived products that support human health and ocean restoration.
The company's first product is an algae-based Omega 3 supplement designed to replace ecologically destructive fish and krill oil supplements.
SeaVoir's patented algae formula is vegan, toxin-free, and clinically proven to absorb 1.7x more than krill or fish-derived Omega 3 supplements.
Additionally, SeaVoir's algae farms in New Mexico and Texas not only help to reduce carbon emissions but also provide sustainable blue jobs on non-arable land, restoring economic opportunity in these rural communities.
"I am excited to be a part of this incredible group of ocean entrepreneurs. For too long our ocean has gotten pushed aside.
